ScopeMentor help
Start with one real project.
Account and product access
Sign in to your separate ScopeMentor account, then open the mentor workspace. Your account identifies you; product access is checked separately. If access is unavailable, do not keep submitting the same request. Check your account and return when access has been confirmed.
The provisional Professional plan is US$199/month. Checkout is not open yet. Account creation is not a purchase, a free product entitlement or an automatic subscription. Review the proposed plan and limits.
Set up the context
With active product access, create and select a project, save a structured scope draft and explicitly confirm the scope before asking the mentor. The project tells the mentor what was agreed. Your optional business profile describes how you work; it does not replace the confirmed scope.
Choose whether to use your business profile
Saving a profile, allowing AI use and selecting it for a question are three separate actions. In the mentor workspace, review the saved version before allowing it, then select that exact version for the question you intend to submit. No profile is selected automatically.
The six available fields are your discipline, commercial models, goals, goal summary, confidence baseline and working style. Your profile time zone and account identifiers are not part of this optional profile context. Using an edited profile in a later AI question requires fresh permission for the changed version.
You can withdraw existing permission from Account → Business profile: AI permission and withdrawal, including after paid access ends. Withdrawal stops new requests using that permission; it cannot recall a request already dispatched or remove profile details quoted in a saved reply.
When a question cannot proceed
Paid access and AI generation are not enabled yet. The connected workflow requires the intended project, a confirmed fixed-fee scope and matching USD or AUD currencies. No currency conversion is performed. If the service reports that it is unavailable, your draft is not evidence that an AI answer was generated. Follow the status shown in the workspace.
Use only the context you need
- Use client aliases and concise summaries. Do not paste passwords, payment-card details or confidential material you are not authorized to share.
- When AI is enabled, confirmed scope, your submitted question, any explicitly selected approved lesson and any separately allowed and selected business-profile version go to the same AI provider for input-size counting and answer generation. The mentor is a hosted service, not local-only or offline. A storage flag is not a promise of zero provider retention.
- Native project records and conversations are saved for your account. Previous replies are visible in the workspace but are not automatically included as context in every new question.
- You can export workspace records or close the workspace from Account. Closing it does not delete your login, cancel a subscription or erase billing-provider records; the account controls explain the boundaries before confirmation.
- This guide explains the current technical workflow. Final privacy disclosures and purchase terms still need to be completed before paid launch; this guide is not a substitute for them.
Return to the decision, not a blank chat
Open the same project and choose “Open decisions and follow-through.” Review the saved decision, record the action you took and what happened, then decide whether a lesson deserves approval for later use. A saved reflection is not proof of a successful outcome, and a lesson is not automatically added to every future question.
Keep the decision human
AI can miss important facts or give incorrect advice. Review every answer and use a qualified professional where the decision calls for one. Nothing is sent to your client automatically.
