ScopeMentor

How ScopeMentor works

Your project. Your judgment. A useful second perspective.

The workflow starts with what you know about your work—not an AI guess about an unseen contract.

  1. Create your project record. Give it a recognizable name and a client alias. Record the commercial model, currency and practical constraints.
  2. Write and confirm the scope. Separate deliverables, exclusions, assumptions and acceptance conditions. A saved draft is not a confirmed agreement.
  3. State the decision in front of you. Summarize the client request, your current judgment, how confident you feel and the action you are considering.
  4. Ask the mentor to examine it. When enabled, the AI workflow uses the selected project’s confirmed scope and the context you submit. You may separately allow and select a saved business-profile version and optionally choose one approved lesson. Your profile and all past conversations are not silently added.
  5. Review, act and follow through. Check the answer and draft response against the real situation. Nothing is sent to the client automatically. Return to the saved decision to record your action, the outcome or what is still unknown, and a lesson you choose to approve for later use.

Why ask for your judgment first?

A mentor should help you become more capable, not just more dependent on its next answer. Writing down your own view makes assumptions visible and gives you something concrete to compare with the advice.

See exactly which profile fields can be used and how to withdraw permission. Saving your profile is not consent to send it to AI.

The first use case: a change to fixed-fee work

For example, a client requests a booking integration after agreeing a simple website. You can distinguish an included revision from a new deliverable, identify what remains unknown and consider the next conversation before sending a response.

Connected workflow: confirmed USD or AUD fixed-fee scope questions, with matching project and scope currencies and no currency conversion. Paid access and AI generation are not enabled yet. Other currencies, commercial models and broad business coaching are not represented as supported just because a project record can store them.

What remains your responsibility?

Verify the context, question the advice and choose your next action. ScopeMentor is not a lawyer, accountant or human adviser. It does not approve contract changes or guarantee a financial result.
